Slain

This is a piece dedicated to the Legend of Zelda franchise. I wanted to show the scaling between the main character, the dragon (and by extension it’s body), and the surrounding kingdom. I also wanted to show a heroic atmosphere about the scene, and added the specks of dust and rays of sunlight that can be found throughout the environment in-game.

The biggest focus of this shot is the savagery of the dragon. Similar shape design was used in the leaves surrounding the scene to emulate the same wildness of the beast.

This is the second pass, where I’m fleshing out the kingdom’s form, and starting to think about scale and distance.

The first pass, where I give the basic idea of the scene including the characters and castle in the background.
