Emerald Library

This library is one of the many concepts to be used by 3D modelers to build the scene. It’s filled with tons of assets that fit the ominous atmosphere of the gemstone-filled environment. The objective was to show the scale of the scene compared to the player, in addition to showing everything that the player could interact with in-game.

High contrast between the window and the rest of the scene was ideal to reflect the creepiness I wanted to illustrate. Additionally, green is the main color of this scene, given the gems, and wanted to continue that palette into the library itself.

The colors of the scene were important to note as every room in this castle had a different color palette. This particular palette was built off of the room’s signature green color from the many gemstones that have grown out of the floors, walls, and ceil
